Like all drones, has a stocky torso that ends in a hoverpad-like device which is his means of getting around. His head is vaguely oblong, with two bright optics for eyes. His hands are long claw-shaped devices that have a blaster-type weapon set up in his arm; the "muzzle" is in the center of each of his palms.

History.

17 was built when 16, his predecessor, proved to have screwy programming but didn't actually merit termination. 16 was put in charge of the drones specifically on the forest-front of Citadel; 17 was put in charge of the drones overall. Like the previous drone commanders, he was given very human programming behavior, the better to keep Obsidian company. But he is the most human by far of them all, actually able to theorize and experiment with things on his own -- the previous commanders were very dependent on Obsidian to formulate thoughts of any kind, thus they were easily manipulable. 17 is a bit of an oddity in that he appears very close to her, but is aware of her failings as an organic creature; in contrast, 16 is also close to her, but believes her to be perfect. 17 will take care not to mention it, however, as he wants to stay online.

Personality.

Very long-suffering and often sighs and acts tired. If anyone insults Obsidian, however, he becomes very angry and will defend her at any cost, even a physical one -- this, after all, is what he was programmed to do.
