Characteristics.

• Extremely proficient with bows, arrows and swordfighting.
• Very good at neogotiation and calming things down.
• Looking mostly human except for wide-slitted eyes, like a crocodile, Ancelin has tanned, golden skin and slightly darker hair of medium length. She wears medieval type things and tall, buckled boots, always seen with her longbow strapped to her back and her sword at her waist.

History.

She doesn’t come from the Other Realm. Originally, Ancelin was from our Realm, the Broken Realm. She ran away from home at the age of fifteen, because her parents were distant and always away from home; Ancelin never truly felt loved. She stumbled onto the Other Realm by either accident or fate, no one knows which, and quickly made friends with a group of Sunless. They were afraid of her, the strangeness of her, and it gave Ancelin power she’d never known at home. Eventually the group became used to her, and she became a welcome addition to their ranks. When a squabble broke out between the Sunless and the Valine, she put herself between them and helped reason them through it. Since then, because of the constant infighting and fighting, and because of the way their Realm is, Ancelin has taken it upon herself to aid her adopted place of home. Through her acts, the Sunless have come to near worship her; the Valine, however, hate her, because of the violence she’s stopped.

While in this position, she befriended a Sunless youngling named Sie, whose mother she helped to save during childbirth. Sie has become her adoptive sister of sorts.

Personality.

Ancelin is strong, a leader; assertive. She has confidence, eloquence, and bearing in extreme amounts. Posessing a very dry sense of humor that is rarely heard from, Ancelin appears to have little personality, as she concerns herself with her job and little more. (Actually enjoying life is for other people.)

Likes/dislikes.

Likes peace and quiet, aiding others, talking to Sie, and meditation. Dislikes fighting, friction, purposeful antagonizing, taunting, and the Broken Realm (which she is now afraid to go back to).

The Other Realm falling apart, or colliding with the Broken Realm.
