 The Arachnid Network.

An Arachnid logo.

General Information.

A terrorist group renowned for their ability to plan, communicate and carry out their missions with extreme and (usually) deadly accuracy. Their ideology is that while traditional governments stand, corruption will always take place, corruption which hurts the "common man" -- whose plight they champion. They do this by destabilizing governments. Their name -- given to them by the media -- refers to their worldwide "web" of contacts, allies, and unwilling debters. Like most large organizations, it is characterized by its leader, so the general public of any country tends to think of it as a terrorist organization full of cannibals, hackers, and otherwise nutjob-type people.

Their "organizational" headquarters is in London, England (with Canine), although they have bases in Germany and Mexico.

Chain of command.

  • 1. Maverick
  • 2. Tanager
  • 3. Canine
  • 4. Virus

Organization strategy.

While they have numerous contacts and allies who would help them, in any way, at the drop of a hat, the Network protects itself by having the people who chiefly work the Network's agenda seperated into two teams. Each member of the team has a different specialty, though they are all trained in combat, basic mechanical skills, world politics, and, to some extent, electronics. Every agent has a codename, which has mostly come to replace their old one, as for safety's sake they no longer use it anywhere. Usually the codename is required to describe some aspect of them, as it helps with keeping all of them straight.

The Americana Team.

  • Maverick (Head of Team; specialty: electronics / technology)
  • Virus (Second in team command; specialty: explosives)
  • Genesis (Specialty: medical)
  • Sidewinder (Specialty: aeronautics / combat)
  • Kaliber (Specialty: ballistics / infiltration)
  • Hotwire (Specialty: automotive)

Confining their activities to North and South America, their base is in Colima, Mexico. This is the most active team, and they have to be stealthier than the other, being that they chiefly deal with the United States.

The European Team.

  • Tanager (Head of Team; specialty: aeronautics / combat)
  • Kamikaze (Second in team command; specialty: explosives)
  • Nighthawk (Specialty: automotive)
  • Demon (Specialty: electronics / technology)
  • Crystalica (Specialty: actress / infiltration)
  • Mercury (Specialty: ballistics / medical)

With a base in a classified area of Germany, while this is the least active team, they provide backup to the main team as well as keeping track of all of their European allies. If any of those allies request help, it's the European team's job to respond.
