  • Hair: White
  • Eyes: Red
  • Profession: Bookshop employee
  • Title: Employee

Characteristics.

  • Albino. Has to wear sunblock constantly; has poor eyesight.
  • A very, very powerful telekinetic. She can do all of the normal things, like move things with her mind, but her signature "move" is raising the temperature. In particular, raising it in certain areas; she can make cars explode this way, by heating the gas tank.
  • Azene has sheer white skin, silver-white hair, and red-pink eyes. She’s thin and gangly from not eating very often, and there are somewhat daunting shadows around her eyes to attest to nights spent lying awake in her bed. Extremely self-conscious, Azene wears clothes that are at least one size too large, usually blue or green in color; she usually wears a hooded sweatshirt over everything, hood down whenever possible.
  • Azene carries a red notebook wherever she goes, that she records her thoughts and drawings in. It's a useful distraction from the stares she gets.

Family.

  • John Sade (father)
  • Dolores Sade (mother; deceased)
  • Agatha Murphy (guardian; deceased)

History.

Azene’s parents were born-again christians when they had her. They had her with the hopes that they would be able to raise an untouched, holy child. What they got was a shy, nice, but extremely telekinetic albino. Albinoism being so rare, and her parents being less than educated, they believed her to be the ‘spawn of Satan’ and confined her to her bedroom for most of her childhood when not in school. Luckily for her, a teacher finally deciphered how Azene lived and whisked her off; she was fifteen at that point, and the experience had long scarred her. She was adopted by Agatha Murphy, an elderly woman who wanted a child to talk to, care for, but one that wasn’t too young; Azene, quiet and inobtrusive, fit the bill. But her personality defecits did not heal over with Murphy.

Azene found the elderly woman daunting – found everyone daunting – and confined herself to the house and school. She continued to live there long after she turned eighteen, and got a job when forced to by a friend of Agatha’s, at a bookshop on the other end of town so that she would ‘get out more often.’ Azene, unknownst to her adoptive guardian, was now able to practice her telekinesis, and proved herself very powerful. However, her psychological issues hiccuped one afternoon—a man apparently found her albinoism very amusing and made fun of her on the streets, so antagonistically that Azene’s telekinesis shifted into overdrive. The several cars next to them exploded, a scene she fled. But everything was different after that—she knew what she could do. She knew that she wasn’t truly helpless.

Personality.

Born albino, she has never known a healthy social life. She has a horrible self image, is impossible with conversation, and doesn’t like being taken out of groups. When inside a group, Azene will gravitate towards the middle of the back, and will stare at her feet as though she’s done something wrong. If touched, Azene trembles; if spoken to, she stares before replying back; if someone offers a friendly hand in her struggles, she’ll eye them fearfully before saying yay or nay. Despite these extreme setbacks, there is another to her personality—anger. Azene has a gigantic anger management problem, her temper hard to control if it gets fired up; usually you can tell if she’s angry because the room’s temperature will start to climb. If you get her worse, things have a habit of exploding.

Likes/dislikes.

Likes the quiet, the sun, watching people, writing, talking (amazingly). Dislikes unfriendly people, nearly everything else, and being outside for too long.

Fears.

Social gatherings, being hurt, being made fun of.
