Characteristics.

Has the following additions installed in, and on, him: Metallized, geared spine for full flexibility; metal-coated arm bones for improved durability; electronic eyes for zoom and clear vision; strengthened, collapsible joints for manueverability; small retractable blades on the underside of his fingers for gripping purposes when climbing, and fighting in general.
Was also trained by the best of the best in various forms of physical combat, and meditation for clarity and physical insight (he can pinpoint what's broken and where, etc). And also other things like politics, the latest in technology... knowledge that'd come in handy for infiltration purposes.
Dante tends to look around the right age, maybe a bit younger, his dark brown hair cut to a little below medium length. His long eyelashes tend to be a sore spot with him, since they get in the way for looking into microscopes and through binoculars. As he's meant for spying and assassination, he's physically very slight and small, but packs a powerful punch. His favorite color to wear is green, fittingly, with his eyes. He's also very pale, as he was mostly indoors from the age of 10 to 28.

History.

Abducted by the government at a young age, Dante was basically brainwashed at the age of 10, and remembers nothing previous to that. From then on he was given to scientists who physically trained him to be agile, strong, and fast, all the while never telling him where he came from or who his parents were. His only diversion was the singular story he managed to pilfer from a nurse while having a medical checkup, which was The Divine Comedy; he began to think of the various staffs, and places, as the different rings of hell, and he renamed himself Dante (previously having just been referred to as HAE 2.5). Eventually they discovered the story and took it, but by then he'd memorized it, and they couldn't chance another brainwashing.

Ten years later, at the age of 20, he was brought to the Hadonov Corporation, where they installed his various modifications in a month-long string of surgeries, all of which were extremely painful when the painkillers eventually wore off. But slowly his body accepted them, and the pain lessened, and then he had to learn how to use his body again afterwards, as his new spine was so flexible he could barely walk for the first two months without falling over backwards. Then, when the Hadonov Corporation was sure the surgeries had been a success, he was relinquished back to the government, and retrained to use his new adaptions.

At the age of 28, while they were moving him between facilities in a high-security van, he broke through the front of the van, killed the driver, and calmly escaped into the night. They're still looking for him.

Personality.

Awkward with other people, due to very little proper socialization, he has picked up a strange verbal pattern that won't allow him to use words like "don't" (he has to say do not), etc, and even aware of this he can't change it. It's a vestige of how he was "raised" by the government/military. He is very calm, rarely getting angry or panicked, as he was trained to be. But he's also very nice and compassionate, especially towards children, whom he thinks of as "funny" since he hasn't seen very many of them.

Likes/dislikes.

Likes anything that he never got while growing up, like music, stories, television, books, that kind of thing. Also likes the nighttime, feeling most comfortable then. Dislikes institutionalized settings, drugs, needles, flourescent "bank" lighting, white tile walls, and the soft "reassuring" music they'd always play, similar to "elevator" music.
