History
Third-born of Jupiter, of which the order was Ares, Artemis, Minerva and Baldr; a celebrated child when she was born, because of a difficult pregnancy during troubled times in the world, Minerva was adored by her siblings and her parents. She was, in particular, adored by her oldest sibling, Ares -- who taught her how to fight. Minerva could persuade her oldest sister to do anything. But her father was not far behind, bringing her with him to meetings with her uncles, relying on her wisdom even at a young age. Poseidon would send her extravagent gifts; Hades, on the other hand, resented her because of the distraction she was to her father.
When Ares manipulated their father, Jupiter, into killing the youngest brother, Baldr, it nearly tore the family apart. She couldn't believe what had happened and went to Ares immediately to demand why the trickster had killed her own brother, but Ares was too caught up in her deed and was laughing herself silly. Over time, however, Minerva found it in herself to forgive her sister, because of the strength of their bond.
Over time people stopped asking her for advice and help, and Minerva went to live at a seaside village in Italy, not far from where her father and mother had decided to live.
Personality
Kind and fair are good words to describe her. If the Eternals or Humankind took their problems to Minerva she would offer great words of wisdom and make them feel ten times better -- or ten times worse. She normally has a cheerful disposition, but is overall a realist; a realist who loves to make people smile. Even Ares, an extreme pessimist, finds it difficult to mock her disposition. (Not that she would, even if she could.) There are times when great melancholy overcomes her, and she seeks to be solitary or with her sister; these times are when she remembers her love from the past, her favorite. These are the only times that Minerva cannot find some way to be positive.
Likes/dislikes
She adores eastern religions and their meditations, as well as yoga, tea, and peaceful music. A good way to irritate her is to play rock music very loudly. She enjoys a good meal, and a quiet boat ride. Anything polar opposite to these things would be frowned upon. In this way, she is entirely different from her older sister, and even from her other sister, Artemis.
Fears
Something else tearing the Eternals apart from each other, or the Titans finding a way out of Tartarus.
